How to Use WoW Tournaments

Your profile

• See your profile at the top right, by clicking your username (button will show once logged in). This is the name everyone else will see when you signup for tournaments and on the leaderboard
• In your profile you can change your username. in case you created an account, named Bafoon, but remembered everyone knows you as Mrbombastico instead.
• Most importantly this is where you link your wow account to Wowtournaments. It's done by clicking "Link Wow Account" in your profile page
• Once you've linked your wow account you can set which characters are Tournament-Ready and which specs you want to join tournaments as.

• Open the Tournaments page.
• Select any tournament to view its details, schedule, rules, and participants.

Joining a tournament

• Find the tournament you want to join.
• Click the Sign up button. Ensure you have a Tournament-Ready character in your profile page.
• You can cancel your signup at anytime before the tournament starts, after the tournament has started, then you cannot cancel your signup.
• Officers are responsible for establishing and managing the Teams, which can be viewed in the Teams and Leaderboard pages in the navigation menu to the left.

Teams and roles

Participants are grouped into teams, with the following icons meaning:

• For now the Teams page only shows very basic information about a team and its captain.

Leaderboard

The Leaderboard shows standings for teams and players throughout the tournament.

• The leaderboard is updated automatically every 5 minutes.
• Your teams run is shown on the leaderboard if it fits the following rules:
• The dungeon completed is part of the tournaments dungeons
• The Team which completed the dungeon, has at least 3 guildies who are signed up for the tournament, and are all in the same team
• If multiple runs of the same dungeon is completed, the best of the runs will show on the leaderboard
